Ball review:
The Dark Counter is to me just a dull Encounter. It reacts just like the original Encounter, just a bit sooner. It’s definantly a ball for bowlers who needs their ball to continue it’s hook. It requires quite a bit of oil as it is a very strong ball. I would use it on medium to heavy oiled lanes.
I really like the way it hooks. It reminds me of the Ransom Demand just a bit more controllable.

Ball review:
The Encounter is strong polished stable ball, just like the Eruption, except that the Encounter is stronger. The reaction of the Encounter makes it possible to use instead of sanded balls, when they hook too early. I’m very happy with my Encounter, as it was the ball I used during christmas to set several new danish records. The Encounter is polished strong ball, that rolls strongly when it gets some friction. It’s a ball I normally use after 1-3 games (on medium, og house profiles from the beginning).

Ball review:
I heard great things about the Omen, but didn’t have too many expectations when I tried it for the first time. However, it was changed after just a few games as I soon recognized the characteristics from the Outburst!
With a strong(!) roll and a calm backend, it fits perfectly to EBT-tournaments where ratios on oil profiles are rather low compared to typical house patterns. Another thing which is noticed, was the pin carry that really flies around even though you are a lower rev rate player.
To sum up, this is a great ball for the tournament bowlers who often compete on more difficult patterns!

Ball review:
After practicing quite a lot with the Dark Encounter, it gets better and better for every time. It was too aggressive in the beginning, and I didn’t use it much as it overreacted too easily. Now it is useful on several patterns, mostly in the medium and long pattern range.

The Omen is a really good solid, stable ball, much like the OutBurst, just stronger. As happy I have been for the OutBurst, I’m sure I will be just as happy with the Omen. The Omen is a ball for people needing more hook and control down the lane (soft arch). Best used on long and fairly flat profiles, where you need something strong with maximum control.

A symmetrical ball that reminds me a lot of the Resurgence. This balls start pretty early for me and has a nice smooth backend.
Will play good for the longer patterns with its earlier roll.

Ball review:
I was really excited when I got this ball in my hands.
Motion is little same as the first Enounter but much stronger. For me the ball is very versatile. I can stay behind it and got straighter up the lane or
give more on the side and make go a longer way to the pocket and still strike a bunch. When the lanes dry up more it´s perfect to go to the first encounter.
I strong ball that I will use a lot on different patterns.

Ball review:
I had high hopes for this ball because I really like the first Encounter. And the Dark Encounter delivers. I see the same type of motion from the Dark Encounter compared to the original, just a lot stronger. I’m able to keep moving deeper and opening my angles as the oil moved around, without having to worry about it quitting on the back end. Of course there’s a limit to how long I can use the Dark Encounter but that’s what the original Encounter is made for. All in all the Dark Encounter i a very strong but very versatile ball.

Ball review:
The Dark Encounter takes the great motion from the Encounter and improves it. The Dark Encounter is stronger and where the Encounter will wiggle the Dark Encounter will keep rolling and go through the pins.
The Dark Encounter is strong without being early and has a nice rolly, controllable backend as Columbia is known for. This allows me to stay closer to the dry with this ball and still have it hit. This also makes it a great compliment to the other balls in Columbia’s line. The Dark Encounter is sooner and smoother than the Ransom Demand, but not as early and rolly as the Omen. This allows me to transition nicely between these three balls on longer patterns.

Ball review:
The Omen is a strong, symmetrical ball from Columbia. With a low RG and medium-high differetial The Omen starts earlier than most balls and creates a smooth backend motion. This makes it perfect for heavier volumes of oil, where you can get the ball to read without being forced left.
The Omen gives me an option on long and slick patterns that will start up early, but on medium patterns I can also use it to control the breakpoint or just have it layoff on the backend. Chris Barnes described this ball as a Resurgence with more flare.
If you are having trouble with your ball sliding and going past the breakpoint the Omen will change that. You will get an early reaction and still have it hit in the pins.
