Ball review:

The new Nail ressurrects one of Hammers old lines of balls. Nail looks great with a nice blend of yellow, red and silver. On the lanes it is clean, which makes it ideal for drier lane conditions. To me a lot of low performance balls tend to be really touchy on the backend, but the Nail seems to blend it out a little better, while still creating enough backend to get through the pins.

The Nail will be a good step down later in a block on medium or medium short oil patterns. Because it is symmetrical it still maintains control and continouation even though the fronts and midlanes are getting dry.

Ratchet – I get the same type of motion with the Ratchet as I get with my Brick. The difference being that the Ratchet starts up a little sooner and hooks a little more totally than the Brick

Ball review:

The Doom core is back! I know some is excited to hear that. I never threw the Doom but I still get requests for it in the shop. The Nail is best suited for drier mediums as it has easy length and doesn’t rev hard in the midlane. It is more angular than the Vibe series and has a little more overall hook. So if you need something longer and stronger than a Vibe look no further than the new Nail

Ball review:

The Rhythm is the ball I expected Arson to be. It has a strong midlane reaction with a hard continuous move on the backend. Yet it’s very predictable. It’s best suited for medium to heavy oil but with a surface change it should handle dryer mediums as well. Not much more to say about the Rhythm it does it’s job well but without the flash of the Jet Black Taboo or other back end monsters.

Ball review:

I decided to drill my Rhytm pretty weak to get a normally stronger ball, that would be able to get through the dry and be controllable. Whether it was a success is too early to say yet, but it is very smooth and gets through the fronts easily.

I think the Rhtym will do well for me on short patterns or very dry patterns with the layout I chose.

With a stronger layout I think you will get a very good benchmark ball. It is smooth and the core doesn’t force you to move left, but the coverstock is still strong enough to handle some oil.

Ball review:

My Taboo is drilled like my first two Mission $250K, and it’s also the ball that comes closet in reaction. I’m sure I’ll be happy with my new Taboo.

The Taboo Jet Black goes a bit longer than the Mission $250K, but with a stronger backend. Even though this is still a very controllable ball and it’s a ball that will fit many bowlers, because it’s strong and can be used on both medium and long profiles.

Ball review:

The best Taboo to date!

The Taboo line has always been great fun to test for me, as each of the balls has been quite different when it comes to ball motion. They have all been a bit different from everything else in the market, which have been resulting in many victories of great players with these balls. However, I must admit that after a short amount of games, the ball motion changes for me and I haven’t used it as much afterwards.

The drilling of this ball (favorite layout) was thus with mixed emotions. So far, it has been truly amazing and again something that you are not able to see at the other brands. This ball is longer and stronger in the backend, and exceptional for when the lanes burns down. I was crazy about the Black Widow, and the Taboo Jet Black contain parts from this epic ball which makes that I can recognize some of the same ball motion.

NB: Remember to do maintenance of the ball regularly.

Ball review:

My Epidemic was drilled with my favorite layout (pin over fingers and cg straight down) and creates good length without too much dramatic backend. I use mine mostly on easier house patterns between 39-42 feet in length, and saves a lot of energy in the end to knock down all pins in the deck.

Ball review:

This ball is just fantastic. A ball motion that I have been missing a bit. Really clean thru the fronts and mids but still loads of hook.

I have been able to use this ball on many different patterns and I am impressed how versatile this ball is.

I shot 299 and 300 at this year’s Ballmaster Open with this ball and I am sure more to come……

Nice with a totally Black Ball ;-) . The jet black really gives me a new look, it gets thru the front really good. And breaks hard in the backend.
