There’s no doubt that this is an Encounter. I has the same type of reaction as my Encounter and Dark Encounter. Actually it falls right in between the two. It has more length than the Dark but not as mych as the original Encounter. The backend is stronger than the other two Encounters. It didn’t handle the fresh very well but once the track opened up it was a beast. This is the go to ball once the Dark Encounter begins checking up too early but the original Encounter still skids too much.

I fell in love with this ball at first throw. Strength and predictability that’s what I like. It gave me good length, strong midlane and a strong continuous controllable back end. It reacted well to release changes and handled all angles well. Actually I think I have found the perfect replacement for my aging Gamebreaker. This could very well be the first ball out of the bag for many players.

I love the original Eruption so I was pretty exited to recieve the Violent Eruption. And it lives up to it’s name. This Eruption is far more violent at the break point than it’s predecessor. Unfurtunately I found it hard to control and saw a lot of over/under reaction which is often the case for me with very skid flippy balls. However the Violent Eruption should work well for players with more speed or lesser hand than me on burnt lanes.

Ball review:
The Dark Counter is to me just a dull Encounter. It reacts just like the original Encounter, just a bit sooner. It’s definantly a ball for bowlers who needs their ball to continue it’s hook. It requires quite a bit of oil as it is a very strong ball. I would use it on medium to heavy oiled lanes.
I really like the way it hooks. It reminds me of the Ransom Demand just a bit more controllable.

Ball review:
The Encounter is strong polished stable ball, just like the Eruption, except that the Encounter is stronger. The reaction of the Encounter makes it possible to use instead of sanded balls, when they hook too early. I’m very happy with my Encounter, as it was the ball I used during christmas to set several new danish records. The Encounter is polished strong ball, that rolls strongly when it gets some friction. It’s a ball I normally use after 1-3 games (on medium, og house profiles from the beginning).

I heard great things about the Omen, but didn’t have too many expectations when I tried it for the first time. However, it was changed after just a few games as I soon recognized the characteristics from the Outburst!
With a strong(!) roll and a calm backend, it fits perfectly to EBT-tournaments where ratios on oil profiles are rather low compared to typical house patterns. Another thing which is noticed, was the pin carry that really flies around even though you are a lower rev rate player.
To sum up, this is a great ball for the tournament bowlers who often compete on more difficult patterns!

After practicing quite a lot with the Dark Encounter, it gets better and better for every time. It was too aggressive in the beginning, and I didn’t use it much as it overreacted too easily. Now it is useful on several patterns, mostly in the medium and long pattern range.

The Ransom Demand is one of the new balls from Columbia 300. It gives me maximum hook to the longer patterns, and can be difficult to control if you drill it in max. I didn’t really like it in the beginning but it is one of the few balls which get better after some games. It is like most of the other balls from the Demand series.
It is best suited to players with lower rev rate or higher ball speed.

The Omen is like a outburst with a extra turbo. It´s stabil and reliable ball that use allot of different lane conditions.

Ball review:
The Omen is a really good solid, stable ball, much like the OutBurst, just stronger. As happy I have been for the OutBurst, I’m sure I will be just as happy with the Omen. The Omen is a ball for people needing more hook and control down the lane (soft arch). Best used on long and fairly flat profiles, where you need something strong with maximum control.
