Ball review:
The new Taboo Jet Black provides a ball motion that I sometimes miss. It is long and clears the fronts, but at the same time the core/cover combo is strong enough to still make usable when there is oil. The backend is strong, angular and very continous, which allows me to keep my speed up, but still have it come back when I hook it.
The Taboo Jet Black will give me a long ball that will still pick-up and be less over/under. This will make it very good for anyone looking for a long and strong ball reaction.

The 716t is the follow-up to the 715t. The 715t was a strong ball that had a strong, arcing backend. The new 716t provides an even stronger ball that starts up earlier than the 715t, but still continues on the backend. This makes it suited for longer patterns, higher volume patterns or when there’s a lot of carry down.
The 716t is a ball I will choose if I’m bowling on a longer pattern, where I need an early ball, but still create a little bit of angle.

It’s about time Hammer put out an all black solid ball! This third (4th if you count the Taboo Spare) installment in the Taboo is for me the most versatile. It has just the right amout of skid, midlane and backend to be useful on different patterns and angles. It reads the front part of the lane like the Pearl Taboo, it reads the midlane like the original Taboo and backends like a nice mix of the two first Taboos.

I really like the motion of this ball. It has the same motion as the 716C but i much stronger overall. Compared to the 715T I see more midlane and more traction reaction.
It shold fare well on higher volume patterns.

This is the 811A SE’s little brother. It is longer than the 811 and the backend seems more angular, but the overall hook is less. It needs dry boards to get going, but once it does it is quite strong. It should be vary good on the burn where you need length but still need recovery.

The new 508a is a medium strength ball that is well suited for when the lanes have broken down and there is some friction on the lanes.
The 508a creates more length and a stronger backend than most medium balls on the market right now. It is also asymmetrical, which makes it create a stronger move on the backend than the symmetrical medium balls.

The Warning Sign is not as I had expected. I expected a much more stable ball, and this is much more like the Ransom Demand. It reads the lane early, like a ball with surface does it, but it turns around on the backend with a boom like it was shiny. It’s a ball for bowlers who mostly bowls on walled up conditions, but who needs a ball that can hook.

The Omen is a really good solid, stable ball, much like the OutBurst, just stronger. As happy I have been for the OutBurst, I’m sure I will be just as happy with the Omen. The Omen is a ball for people needing more hook and control down the lane (soft arch). Best used on long and fairly flat profiles, where you need something strong with maximum control.

To me the Mission X is hard to describe. I just really love this ball and what it does on the lanes. It’s definantly a really strong ball, which have both a stable reaction on the lanes and a crazy hook on the backend. I’m crazy about it, a ball for everyone. Must have.

Finally a polyester ball with a strong core. Don’t let the name fool you this one doesn’t just skid forever when used on the right condition. It will hook with a fairly anguar motion considering it’s a polyester ball. It is great on short patterns and on fried lanes. It’s also a nice alternative to urethane when they start checking up too soon and weak reactives are still too much ball on the back end.
